Tic tac toe, also called noughts and crosses, is a simple game for two players. It is played on a 3×3 board with nine spaces in each of the three rows. Each player takes turns marking their own symbol into one of the spaces until all of them have been filled or no more moves can be made. The winner is the first player to place three of their symbols in a row (vertically, horizontally or diagonally).
The game has many variations, including multi-player games for example where players must form three of their symbols in a row using all nine spaces on the board.
The most similar game to Tic Tac Toe is Connect 4. It’s also one of the oldest board games around, dating back to 1967.
Connect 4 is played by two players who take turns dropping colored disks into a 7×6 grid. The first player to get four in a row wins.
Four in a Row - A game similar to tic tac toe. The board consists of four rows of five boxes. Each player has four tokens that can be placed on any empty box on their side of the board (horizontally or vertically). The goal is to get four tokens in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).
